EGGER MELAMINE BOARDS
Melamine boards are typically made of mdf or chipboard base onto which a printed thin but very durable leaf is adhered to. Companies like Egger have more than 300 different designs ranging from typical plain colours through plenty of wooden imitations to effects like rusted metal or plain concrete.
Recently with the surface embossing technology to some untrained eyes the face of the boards may seems like a natural wooded surface.
They are very quick to turn around in production as they do not require any finishing except for applying edging banding in the same finish as faces of the boards. Those boards (even if more elaborated designs can cost 2.5 more than typical plain colour from their range) are the most cost effective option in furniture production and with latests designs the quality still can be of highest standards even without high costs of production.
